About the position

The Quality Control Assistant at Globus Medical plays a vital role in ensuring the quality of parts and products that are integral to the manufacturing and service processes. This position involves coordinating the movement of materials, inspecting parts, and maintaining quality inspection activities to ensure that products meet the required standards before reaching customers.

Responsibilities

• Bulk movement of parts to maintain WIP by first-in-first-out (FIFO) principles.
• Processing all received materials into the quality inspection area, including physical movement of products.
• Identifying priority inspection products and escalating to quality inspectors.
• Entering and maintaining the Finished Goods Warehouse in a clean and orderly manner.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations by completing training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to the role.
• Representing the company in a professional manner and upholding the highest standards of ethical business practices.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one-year experience working in a Finished Goods Warehouse environment.
• Ability to follow procedures and take initiative; team player.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office) and human resources application (Workday).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
