About the position

The Quality Assurance Analyst (ETL - Ab Initio) position is a remote role that focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of data warehousing and reporting capabilities. Individuals in this role will be responsible for developing comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scripts, as well as executing tests and tracking defects throughout the testing lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to meet project deadlines and expectations. In this role, the analyst will define the approach to validating capabilities and will be involved in various types of testing, including functional, regression, negative, and deployment testing. They will also conduct ETL job execution testing using Control-M/Control Center and will be responsible for error handling testing. Collaboration with business stakeholders to understand requirements and with the operations team to coordinate build deployment and execution within the test environment is crucial. The analyst will track defects and report on testing progress and results, ensuring that all issues are documented and addressed in a timely manner. A strong proficiency in SQL, UNIX, Control-M, Control Center, and ETL processes using Ab Initio is essential. Additionally, the ability to understand the code base by reviewing Ab Initio Psets, graphs (.mp), and XFRs is required. The candidate should also have the necessary skills to mock-up and upload test data using the Ab Initio Test Data Management tool (TDM).

Responsibilities

Requirements
