About the position

The Quality Assurance Analyst (QA) at Pace Analytical Services is responsible for overseeing and analyzing quality policies, programs, and practices. This role involves providing guidance to employees and management, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and contributing to the overall mission of the organization by promoting a safe and effective workplace environment.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing or reviewing, completing and processing various types of quality forms, documents, databases, and related materials and information.
  • Providing intermediate to complex analysis, interpretation and counsel to staff, management, and functional leaders regarding quality policies, programs and practices.
  • Assisting with receiving customer feedback and coordinating resources and responses as required.
  • Analyzing and reviewing operations, results, feedback and related quality information to determine trends and present findings to management.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of tests, equipment, actions, procedures and operational databases through audits and operational reviews.
  • Assisting with developing quality or cross-functional project objectives, including budgets and timelines.
  • Interpreting and applying department policies and procedures and assisting with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers.
  • Promoting and supporting the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, operations, or a closely related field.
  • Two (2) years of quality experience, including experience with complex programs or operations.
  • Intermediate to complex principles, practices and techniques of quality.
  • Understanding of various testing tools, equipment, and calibration.
  • Computer applications and systems related to the work.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a laboratory environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in quality assurance.
