About the position

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst - Level III to join our team in the DC, VA, MD area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing quality control measures, conducting performance monitoring, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting continuity of operations and disaster recovery efforts. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to ensure adherence to performance objectives and standards. The Quality Assurance Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring that all performance objectives outlined in the Performance Requirements Summary (PRS) are met and that processes and procedures are implemented to achieve the Acceptable Quality Levels (AQL) specified for each performance objective. In this position, you will participate in the evaluation of contractor performance as per the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) and conduct systematic evaluations to ensure adherence to performance standards. You will define application standards, frequency of surveillance, and minimum acceptable performance levels, while also monitoring customer service requests to ensure a high response rate. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that systems are maintained and configurations are current, with a focus on compliance with Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) requirements. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring the operational status of systems, ensuring all mobile and portable systems are protected with encryption capabilities, and reporting quarterly on the number of mobile devices and their encryption status. You will support CODR activities, ensuring that periodic tests show CODR support is available within required time frames, and track all assets to ensure accuracy in documentation. Furthermore, you will provide corrective action plans for unfilled vacancies and ensure efficient logging and tracking of all service requests. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring key application performance and responding to deskside support personnel to maintain network performance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all performance objectives outlined in the Performance Requirements Summary (PRS) are met.
  • Implement processes and procedures to achieve the Acceptable Quality Levels (AQL) specified for each performance objective.
  • Participate in the evaluation of contractor performance as per the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
  • Conduct systematic evaluations to ensure adherence to performance standards.
  • Define application standards, frequency of surveillance, and minimum acceptable performance levels.
  • Monitor customer service requests, ensuring 98% are responded to within the same business day.
  • Ensure systems are maintained and configurations are current with 100% compliance with Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) requirements.
  • Monitor the operational status of systems, ensuring they meet all required patches, builds, and configurations.
  • Ensure all mobile and portable systems are protected with encryption capabilities.
  • Report quarterly on the number of mobile devices, the percentage with encryption software, and the training status of users on encryption software.
  • Support CODR activities, ensuring that periodic tests show CODR support is available within required time frames.
  • Complete or support 100% of scheduled reviews and tests as required.
  • Track all assets, ensuring a 98% accuracy rate in asset documentation.
  • Conduct random sampling and cyclic inventories to verify asset tracking accuracy.
  • Ensure timely filling of employee vacancies as stipulated in PRS, to avoid service disruption.
  • Provide corrective action plans for unfilled vacancies, detailing steps to fill the position and expected timelines.
  • Ensure efficient logging and tracking of all service requests with timely user notifications on status.
  • Ensure VIP end users have access to all desktop computing functions and support during operational and non-standard hours, with 99% availability.
  • Monitor key application performance, ensuring compliance with IT Architecture standards.
  • Respond to and support deskside support personnel in maintaining network performance and addressing ITSM ticketing systems requests within specified time frames.
  • Provide timely notifications of items requiring Government action, ensuring Government is informed within 30 minutes of activities necessitating such action.
  • Ensure no more than 2% of reports to Government contacts are later than the specified period, and no more than 1% of required situations go unreported.

Requirements

  • Six (6) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalency.
