About the position

The position involves working within the Auto Finance team at FIS, focusing on providing development, production, client experience, and operational support for automotive lending clients. The role is centered around transitioning from a mainframe-based Auto Finance lending application to a server-based Asset Finance lending application, requiring collaboration with client teams to address defects and enhancements in the lending application.

Responsibilities

• Participate in software design meetings with clients to analyze and interpret user needs for technical requirements.
• Write technical specifications and business requirements documents, identifying solutions for non-standard tasks and queries.
• Present technical solutions to clients in a non-technical, business-focused manner using storyboarding and demos.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment, demonstrating a self-starter attitude and inquisitiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, finance, accounting, or equivalent education, training, or work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of design and usability/business analyst experience in a financial services research and development environment or banking/financial industry.
• Ability to communicate complex information to a wide audience based on knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent human relations, negotiation, and documentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Auto Suite, specifically Auto Finance and the financial industry.
• Functional knowledge of traditional Project Management and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent customer service skills that enhance customer satisfaction for internal and external customers.
