About the position

The Quality Assurance Analyst at 1199SEIU Family of Funds is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of employment events data loaded through the employer portal. This role involves addressing discrepancies, coordinating with relevant teams, and providing feedback to employers. The analyst will also develop cross-functional QA reports, conduct training sessions, and participate in conversion testing to ensure data integrity and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality assurance of employment events data loaded through the portal for accuracy and compliance.
  • Address discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams for necessary updates.
  • Provide feedback to employers regarding corrective actions needed.
  • Develop cross-functional QA reports for functional analysis of data loading.
  • Conduct training and coaching sessions for the QA Analyst I team to ensure team cohesion and accuracy.
  • Participate in V3locity conversion testing script review and functional testing.
  • Review and analyze MSP and CMS files for accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Process quarterly extract files for CMS Section 111 website and Tidal process.
  • Convert CMS response files from text to Excel, analyze errors, and upload to V3.
  • Ensure spousal deduction reports are accurately loaded and review entries for eligibility.
  • Provide monthly reports on reconciliation status, including summaries and metrics.
  • Coordinate with internal and external departments for monthly reconciliation and address anomalies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance, or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of two years experience with quality assurance, payroll, and events analysis required.
  • Prior experience with eligibility, self-service systems, and processing procedures.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of the Employer Self Service Portal V2.0 and its functionality.
  • Knowledge of the V3 system, including enrollment, eligibility, payroll, and contribution modules.
  • Familiarity with Fund policies and procedures and Taft-Hartley Funds.
  • Understanding of contract language and rate structure per fund.
  • Knowledge of eligibility rules built into the Portal.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to articulate complex concepts.
