About the position

The Quality Assurance Analyst position at Atlanta Postal Credit Union is a full-time role within the corporate Member Experience department, focusing on enhancing the quality of service provided to members. The primary purpose of this position is to assist the credit union in fulfilling its mission of helping members achieve financial success through exceptional products and services. The analyst will play a crucial role in monitoring quality assurance related to lending and operations, ensuring that member interactions align with the organization's service promises. In this role, the Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to both internal and external members, adhering to the credit union's service promises which emphasize efficiency, integrity, respect, and security. The analyst will conduct a variety of quality assurance reviews across departments to ensure that necessary controls are in place to prevent losses and comply with regulatory requirements. Key findings from these reviews will be reported to department executives, and the analyst will collaborate with them to develop action plans aimed at quality and process improvement. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and compliance with BSA/AML and OFAC regulations. The analyst will also need to be adaptable, working independently in a dynamic environment while maintaining confidentiality and addressing issues effectively. This role is essential in supporting the credit union's commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring that all operational processes meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding service to both internal and external members in alignment with service promises.
  • Perform a variety of quality assurance reviews across departments to ensure controls are in place to avoid losses and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Report key findings to departments and their key executives and collaborate to develop action plans for quality and process improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Comply with all aspects of BSA/AML and OFAC regulations as they relate to this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or minimum two years' experience in the financial industry.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Technologically proficient including Word, Excel and other applications relevant to the job.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Flexibility and independence to work in a changing and unstructured environment.
  • Ability to work independently and address issues effectively.
  • Diverse knowledge of all areas of the credit union.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in banking or credit union environments.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and methodologies.
