About the position

The Quality Assurance Analyst will assist the QA Manager in monitoring and maintaining quality assurance programs and procedures. This role involves conducting routine inspections, audits, and quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions, as well as prepare and maintain QA documentation, including reports, records, and manuals. Additionally, the analyst will support the development and execution of training programs related to quality processes and assist in coordinating product testing, inspections, and certifications as required. Bilingual communication skills are essential for liaising with Japanese-speaking stakeholders when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the QA Manager in monitoring and maintaining quality assurance programs and procedures.
  • Conduct routine inspections, audits, and quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain QA documentation, including reports, records, and manuals.
  • Support the development and execution of training programs related to quality processes.
  • Assist in coordinating product testing, inspections, and certifications as required.
  • Utilize bilingual communication skills to liaise with Japanese-speaking stakeholders when needed.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar technical role.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Japanese is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and QA tools/software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or engineering processes.
  • Experience working in a bilingual environment (English and Japanese).
