About the position

The Quality Assurance Analyst at Foot Locker plays a crucial role in supporting the Quality Assurance Manager by leading and directing quality assurance teams across North America. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining policies and procedures that ensure compliance and excellence in quality assurance operations within the supply chain. The analyst will focus on improving product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency through data analysis and collaboration with various teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Support developing, implementing, and owning all quality assurance policies, procedures, and expectations across the entire DC network.
  • Provide analytics to help standardize inventory quality assurance to improve customer product satisfaction scores.
  • Own tracking North American KPI's for quality assurance and support each site's QA/IC operations managers.
  • Analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement & cost reductions.
  • Help lead quality audits at each facility to validate adherence to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendor relations team to provide consistent feedback to vendors for product quality improvement.
  • Partner with finance to develop a total cost of quality report.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in total cost of quality and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Benchmark with other retailers and innovate strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Direct oversight of various quality assurance programs essential to supply chain.
  • Drive proactive change management to all levels of the team impacted by process change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years combined experience in inventory control and quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Greenbelt in 6-sigma required; preferred Blackbelt in 6-sigma.
  • Strong ability to perform statistical analysis to improve process control.
  • Proven track record of implementing inventory control initiatives that resulted in improved accuracy, efficiency, and cost savings.
  • Experience in developing quality standards and standardizing SOP's.
  • Demonstrated ability to present to Executive leadership team & board of directors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to produce high quality and accurate work products.
  • Demonstrate structured thinking to solve problems and conduct root cause analysis.
