About the position

Join AZAD as a Quality Assurance Analyst to support the IT Quality Control organization in large multi-year projects. This role involves key QA tasks such as test script development, defect tracking, test coordination, and data quality management. The position is remote for residents of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Montana, and offers a competitive hourly pay rate based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist the IT Quality Control organization.
• Perform Operations and Maintenance (O&M) key QA tasks such as test script development and execution.
• Track defects and manage test coordination.
• Verify test environments and manage data quality.
• Lead QA efforts for vendor-supplied solutions, either COTS or vendor developed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related technical field (preferred).
• 6 years of QA experience with a bachelor's degree in specified fields or 10 years without a degree.
• Experience in test methodology design and implementation.
• Hands-on experience writing test plans, test cases, and managing defect logs.
• Demonstrated working-level Azure DevOps/TFS skills.
• 5 years of experience leading a Quality Assurance Team.
• Knowledge of System Life Cycle (SLC) principles.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud-based solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of QA and testing methodologies in complex systems.
