About the position

The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for executing quality assurance activities to meet corporate goals and objectives. This role involves a comprehensive understanding of testing methodologies and tools, as well as the ability to analyze data and identify risks. The analyst will work closely with the Quality Assurance Management and IT Management, coordinating with the Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure effective testing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the entire Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) including design, construction, and execution of comprehensive test cases.
  • Conduct all aspects of quality assurance including problem analysis, quality reviews, and reporting quality metrics.
  • Think creatively to identify edge cases and potential issues in new features.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases, updating documentation with results and defect tracking.
  • Assist in the construction and maintenance of automated testing scripts and regression testing suites.
  • Prepare and execute testing strategies including Smoke, Application, Integration, System Integration, and regression testing.
  • Share knowledge and mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of quality assurance and software testing experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent experience of 8+ years in QA and software testing.
  • ISTQB Certification or equivalent recommended certification.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and web application concepts.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and software development lifecycle.
  • Intermediate level SQL skills with data migration project experience.
  • Experience with at least one scripting language (JavaScript, Perl, Ruby, Python, Java, C#).
  • Experience with automation tools such as HP ALM, Selenium, TestComplete, RFT, SOAPUI, or PostMan.

Benefits

  • Contract position with hourly pay ranging from $45.00 to $50.00.
  • 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
