About the position

The Quality Assurance Associate at Toyota Industries Group is responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards through inspection and analysis. This role involves utilizing measuring instruments, conducting inspections, and maintaining quality records to guarantee defect-free products are delivered to customers. The position operates on a night shift schedule from Sunday to Wednesday, emphasizing the importance of attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize measuring instruments to perform daily checks of product samples from various manufacturing stages.
• Record and analyze data associated with measuring sample parts and PPAP parts.
• Conduct inspections on incoming raw materials.
• Operate the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
• Ensure all quality records are updated and kept current on a daily basis.
• Ensure a safe and environmentally friendly work environment by complying with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including OSHA and EPA.
• Follow all aspects of the site Environmental Policy as it pertains to normal job duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years working experience in a Quality lab environment is required.
• Experience using CMM and other measuring equipment is required.
• Proficient in process analysis and defect inspection.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing/JIT concepts.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.
