About the position

The Quality Assurance / Automation Engineer in Test (P3) is responsible for designing, building, and utilizing test automation frameworks to enhance software quality at Workday. This role involves coding and developing test automation tools, creating and executing test cases, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful completion of system tests. The engineer will also participate in product design and may develop quality assurance policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and build test automation frameworks to optimize software quality.
• Code and develop test automation tools.
• Create and execute test cases to troubleshoot production issues.
• Implement resilient tests to prevent future issues.
• Integrate end user software requirements and product knowledge into testing processes.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams on quality initiatives.
• Ensure successful completion and documentation of system tests.
• Develop, revise, and approve quality assurance and testing policies, standards, and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
