About the position

The Quality Assurance and Contract Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with processes, regulations, and minimum standards outlined in the Provider contract. This role involves collaboration with a network of providers to monitor and report performance in substitute care, develop performance improvement plans, and track results to address issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop qualitative indicators, outcomes, and outputs to measure Provider performance.
• Review quality assurance results and recommend system/process improvements.
• Measure performance outcomes established at federal and state levels.
• Ensure Providers implement processes for background checks and staff education verification.
• Analyze cases and performance data to ensure compliance with service delivery standards.
• Support network providers in Quality Improvement efforts to mitigate risks.
• Provide recommendations in Performance Quality Improvement meetings.
• Maintain strong business relationships with provider network staff.
• Monitor and assure response to client-reported concerns and complaints.
• Review financial records with the Finance Department for accurate billing.
• Create reports reflecting performance measures of the provider network and identify trends.
• Collaborate with the Training Department to conduct relevant trainings.
• Adhere to agency policies and maintain client confidentiality.
• Support the Belong mission and carry out Trauma Informed Care principles.
• Attend mandatory trainings and continuing education as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Services, Accounting, Business Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Child Welfare, Data Analysis, Quality Assurance & Contracts.
