About the position

The Quality Assurance Data Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of data within the organization. This position involves implementing quality control processes, analyzing data consumption, and collaborating with various departments to resolve data issues. The role is hybrid, requiring two days onsite and three days remote work.

Responsibilities

• Intake and deliver data downstream into production to support ongoing operational needs.
• Implement quality control tasks and processes to measure data quality and outcomes.
• Assess and evaluate data consumption processes by reviewing new and existing data sources.
• Deliver data quality improvement initiatives as defined and prioritized.
• Collaborate across multiple departments related to data collection and management.
• Work closely with data owners, users, and custodians to resolve data issues.
• Present data quality trends and findings to stakeholders as needed.
• Monitor and manage large data sets tracked through various data systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or statistics preferred.
• Ability to analyze large data sets for trends and patterns.
• Strong logical reasoning skills.
• Experience using and developing data profiling routines and data quality.
• Ability to prioritize and troubleshoot data consumption and quality problems.
• Expert in spreadsheet generation and manipulation.
• Proficient in SQL queries and query writing.
• Demonstrated initiative and effective independent decision-making skills.
