About the position

As a Quality Assurance Engineer II for Amazon Photos, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the Amazon Photos service. This position involves collaborating with various teams, including developers and product managers, to build and maintain a robust test infrastructure for a multi-platform product. You will be responsible for manual testing, automation testing, and developing comprehensive test strategies to validate new features, ultimately contributing to the growth and adoption of the service.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain test infrastructure for a multi-platform (mobile, web, Alexa) product.
• Work alongside other Quality Assurance Engineers (QAE's) to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and manual test cases to validate new features.
• Support automation frameworks that work across a wide range of Amazon devices with software configuration management (SCM) to establish a continuous build and test cycle.
• Leverage the existing automation framework to design, create, and maintain an automated regression test suite.
• Create and report test execution status summary along with defect information.

Requirements

• 5+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in manual testing
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
• Experience in automation testing

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
• Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
