About the position

The Quality Assurance Engineer will be part of a quality team expanding/implementing quality management systems across the company. They will work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Development, and Customer teams to develop and deliver successful photoresist products from all scales of manufacturing and product development stages. A successful QA engineer will ensure products are manufactured to precise and specific customer requirements. This position is pivotal in driving continuous improvement and identifying, resolving, and preventing issues in raw materials, in-process production, and finished product. This position will work closely and collaboratively with chemical engineers, production managers, production technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure all products meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain SPC programs and reporting systems to monitor and control supply chain and manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure SPC methodologies are effectively applied through working with chart owners to analyze process data to identify trends, variations, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present SPC reports to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Manage MSA and product control plans.
  • Support supply chain management by working closely with the supply chain team to ensure quality standards are met and provide support and direction for supplier management programs.
  • Participate in change control processes to ensure all changes are evaluated for their risk and impact on product quality relative to SPC and data collection processes.
  • Monitor the implementation of changes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support for the quality management systems (MES software), update and review documentation, and QMS administration including new product setup.
  • Manage and support issues and 8D problem-solving.
  • Provide internal audit support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance within the semiconductor or chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of SPC methodologies and tools with a strong statistical background.
  • Familiarity with change control processes and documentation.
  • Attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Able to demonstrate active and effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Well organized, flexible, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
  • Experience with high-purity chemical handling is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.
