About the position
The Quality Assurance Manager at Seal Methods Inc. is responsible for ensuring that products meet high-quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. This role involves overseeing quality control and management processes, implementing quality systems, conducting audits, and analyzing data to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
Responsibilities
- Maintain quality assurance policies and procedures
- Establish and maintain quality systems to ensure compliance with customer's standards and regulations
- Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas of concern, and develop strategies for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Provide training and guidance to employees on quality control processes
- Oversee the inspection of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
- Manage projects related to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management)
- Proven experience in quality assurance management, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and techniques
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, 8D, etc
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with Quality Systems such as ISO 9001 and/or IATF16949
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, including 5S, Green/Black Belt, 6 sigma, Fishbone Diagrams, 8D Reports
