About the position

The Quality Assurance Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software products by influencing best practice testing techniques and performing automated testing throughout the software development life cycle. This position involves planning and testing software changes to ensure they meet requirements and conform to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test scenarios that exercise functionality and trace back to Acceptance Criteria
• Effectively leverage automation to help reduce manual testing time
• Develop, implement, and maintain automated regression suites
• Work closely with developers to isolate, reproduce, and troubleshoot defects
• Provide input on the overall automation strategy and test tools
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Collaborate within an agile team on story creation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• 1-3 years IT experience
• 1-3 years Experience in one or more of the following: Selenium, C#, JAVA, Github, Postman/SoapUI, Continuous integration/Continuous Delivery
• 1-3 years Experience with automated testing tools
• 1-3 years Experience with scripting detailed automated tests cases

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of QA methodologies and testing techniques
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs
