About the position
The Quality Assurance Specialist role is focused on ensuring that developed solutions meet business requirements through the establishment of automated testing solutions. This position involves creating automated test strategies, planning and executing tests, and reporting on the progress and quality status of projects. The specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the establishment of automated testing solutions
- Design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts
- Develop requirements traceability matrices, test plans, and test scripts
- Document and report test results
- Analyze bug fixes/issues and troubleshoot with IT and business staff
- Collaborate with QA Manager and Project Managers for successful project delivery
Requirements
- 6+ years of QA testing experience with standard methodologies
- 3+ years of business process analysis
- Proficiency in test automation development (Selenium preferred)
- Experience with GUI, API, and database verification
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration testing tools
- Knowledge of automated mobile testing using cloud solutions
- 4-year degree in Computer Information Systems or related field
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competency in Microsoft applications (Visio, Word)
