About the position

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at PNC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that software products meet company standards and client requirements. This position involves participating in the quality assurance process, performing code inspections, and executing test plans. You will work closely with developers to resolve issues and ensure the reliability of technology implementations within the Share Services Technology team. The role is primarily based in a PNC location, with some flexibility for remote work at the manager's discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the quality assurance process to ensure software products meet standards.
  • Performs code inspections, walk-throughs, design, and test-readiness reviews.
  • Reviews software and project documentation for completeness and adherence to standards.
  • Works on problem resolutions and reports progress to management.
  • Plans, executes, and summarizes reliability and validation test cases; interfaces with developers on test results.
  • Assists in audits and reviews.
  • Writes and executes test plans and cases for software testing.

Requirements

  • SQL and Python experience
  • Experience working with big data and relational databases
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies, specifically Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with A/B testing
  • Knowledge of GIT/BIT Bucket
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience or a combination of education and experience.
