About the position

Cactus Botanics is seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure that products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous testing and analysis. The role involves monitoring production operations, conducting quality audits, and collaborating with production teams to maintain compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
• Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
• Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
• Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
• Utilize contract manufacturer approved Finished Product Specifications and samples to create product specific test specifications/forms for use on all in-coming lots of product
• Perform evaluation of product to facilitate release, or rejection
• Prepare samples and required Laboratory submission forms to facilitate outside analysis of products as indicated in SOP
• Track samples, testing and results
• Follow up on past due results
• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures
• Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality control measures
• Utilize QA/QC tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Monitor compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards
• Conduct fabricate testing to assess product durability and performance
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related field
• Familiarity with HACCP principles and practices
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools
• Experience in conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions
