About the position

The Quality Assurance Specialist will support the Environment & Agriculture business by ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, and quality assurance plans through audits and inspections. This role involves collaboration with environmental scientists and database developers to review data for database assimilation, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards in environmental chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct work within budget constraints and discuss with management if additional resources are needed.
• Plan and execute assigned audits and report reviews, generating detailed reports of findings.
• Perform internal facility and technical inspections to assess compliance with regulatory and project-specific requirements.
• Report findings to management and ensure deficiencies are addressed.
• Assist in auditing records and reports for compliance with stated requirements.
• Develop and maintain controlled documents and procedures.
• Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a related field, with at least one year of technical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
