As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of our QA/QC programs. You will collaborate with the Lead Practitioner/Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the integrity of our Food Safety, SQF fundamentals, and Food Quality Plan across the facility. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the post-implementation facility SQF system, coordinating special projects related to food safety and product quality, and ensuring effective communication with supervisors and department leaders to address any product safety and quality issues that arise. In addition to QA/QC program development, you will assist in the coordination of a comprehensive plant audit program, ensuring compliance with HACCP critical control points, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and federal and state inspection agency regulations. You will also participate in regulatory inspections and customer audits, assist in investigating product contamination events, and help resolve customer complaints. Training is another key aspect of your role, as you will review HACCP principles, GMP principles, and Food Safety and Quality SOPs with both new and existing employees. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively at various levels will be essential in maintaining our high standards of food safety and quality.
