The Quality Assurance Technician role at Staffmark involves ensuring the quality of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods in a manufacturing environment focused on environmentally sustainable solutions. Responsibilities
- Adhere to all quality standard operating procedures and processes
- Responsible for testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
- Obtain and test samples of materials according to standard procedures to ensure compliance with established internal specifications
- Supply testing information to corporate and send samples out as needed
- Maintain accurate and organized records of laboratory analysis
- Perform daily calculations, compare lab results to expected values, and report variances to supervisor
- Conduct instrument maintenance and calibration
- Operate equipment, record data, and use discretion in the evaluation of data, often working without supervision
- Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment, and complete regular inventory checks of necessary lab items
Requirements
- 2+ years of related experience (education can be substituted for work experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds
- Flexibility to work nights if needed
