About the position

The Quality Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet the established quality standards and specifications. This position is responsible for adhering to all referenced quality procedures and work instructions while performing necessary inspections. The Quality Auditor will conduct visual inspections of parts or materials to identify cosmetic defects and will also engage in various processes and tests to assess the functionality of products. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of the production process, serving as the eyes of the customer to ensure that every aspect of production meets quality expectations. The Quality Auditor will utilize inspection equipment effectively to complete necessary documentation and maintain accurate filing records. This position requires a proactive approach to quality assurance, including reviewing current work practices to identify areas for improvement in quality and productivity. The auditor will conduct internal quality audits and monitor the manufacturing process at different stages to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to quality levels. Additionally, the auditor will compile card samples for specific high-profile customers and follow job ticket information to ensure compliance with product specifications. The role operates on the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime, including Saturdays, as needed. This position demands a detail-oriented individual who is technically competent in manufacturing processes and possesses excellent communication skills to effectively interact with production staff and halt production when defects are identified.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual inspections of parts or materials for cosmetic defects.

Requirements
