About the position

Arcticom, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Quality Automation Tester for a project with the United States Marine Corps. The Automation Tester will apply various testing techniques to ensure the design quality of products throughout the software testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios.
• Execute tests on software usability.
• Analyze test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
• Prepare reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
• Interact with clients to understand product requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
• Collaborate with SMEs for data gathering, business process details, and testing.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of software testing experience.
• Associate degree.
• Familiarity with testing tools.
• Familiarity with Catalon Studio.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of regression testing.
• Ability to think critically and analytically.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information; make appropriate judgements and evaluate options.
