About the position

The Quality Compliance Associate role at Reckitt involves performing chemical and physical testing on various products to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position is integral to maintaining product safety and quality, supporting the Research & Development team, and contributing to the company's mission of providing high-quality hygiene, health, and nutrition products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform chemical and/or physical testing on in-process, finished, validation, and R&D products according to applicable procedures.
  • Sample and analyze incoming raw materials, recording results and making decisions on acceptability.
  • Evaluate raw chemicals and manufactured bulk records, issuing appropriate paperwork for product acceptance or rejection.
  • Maintain accurate and updated summary records for each material analyzed.
  • Conduct stability tests on raw materials and consumer finished products as assigned.
  • Prepare, date, and standardize laboratory reagents as assigned.
  • Assist Processing Teams as a Quality Assurance resource, providing clarification and direction on issues.
  • Report inconsistencies in specifications, B.O.M., or test methods.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in a science field, preferably Chemistry.
  • 2+ years' experience in an analytical laboratory of an industrial and/or manufacturing plant environment.
  • Ability to understand the Metric system and convert units accurately.
  • Experience with lab instruments such as GC, NIR, UV/VIS, HPLC.
  • Ability to handle chemicals within permissible levels.
  • Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills with supervisors and employees.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer).
