About the position

The Quality & Compliance Director at CBRE is responsible for leading the Quality Representatives staff on large scoped client accounts or managing corporate QA departments. This role ensures the delivery of quality and compliance deliverables for regulated and non-regulated services, overseeing the creation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS). The director will interface with leadership teams, manage compliance programs, and ensure adherence to contractual agreements while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the CBRE Quality Representatives staff on large scoped client accounts or corporate QA departments.
  • Manage the creation, implementation, and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Ensure delivery of quality and compliance deliverables per master service agreements and local service level agreements.
  • Evaluate, select, implement, and actualize best practices across the client portfolio.
  • Oversee the staff responsible for the quality & compliance program and inspection readiness program.
  • Attend Quality Forum meetings to provide reports and metrics.
  • Interface with CBRE and client leadership teams to communicate quality initiatives and issues.
  • Report compliance status to clients during review meetings and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Oversee vendor management programs and ensure GxP compliance of regulated service vendors.
  • Investigate deviations/events and manage Corrective/Preventative Actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Engineering; or equivalent related work experience.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years experience in a pharmaceutical research/manufacturing quality organization.
  • Previous departmental experience required.
  • FDA, ISO, or similar quality assurance audit related certification preferred.
  • Green or Black Belt Six Sigma Certification preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Desktop publishing, Microsoft Office Suite, and Online Help.
  • Previous experience with SAP, Trackwise, Regulus, and/or CMMS systems.
  • Formal training with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S programs preferred.
  • Previous oversight of training and qualification programs within a regulated environment preferred.
  • Quality auditing experience preferred.
