Responsibilities

• Responsible for chemical evaluation of raw materials
• Perform QC assays and maintain laboratory organization/cleanliness
• Utilize a variety of wet chemistry techniques including TLC, ID testing, and various titrations
• Conduct instrumentation analysis such as pH, Conductivity, UV-Vis, and more
• Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions
• Work under immediate supervision and report to a supervisor or manager

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related subject
• 4-6 years of experience in a relevant field
• Experience with simple instruments (pH, conductivity, TOC, Osmolality)
• Wet chemistry experience
• Comfortable handling chemicals and following established safety practices
• Familiarity with pharmacopoeia such as USP-NF, EP, JP, ChP
• Knowledge of cGMP testing
