About the position

As a Quality Control Analyst at Lockheed Martin, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet government compliance standards and are free from defects before delivery to customers. This position involves developing inspection plans, providing training and mentorship, analyzing data for continuous improvement, and conducting compliance audits. Your contributions will be vital to maintaining the high standards of the F-35 production team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive inspection plans, procedures, and tools to identify product defects.
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to the quality control workforce.
  • Analyze and interpret data and metrics to drive actionable insights for quality processes.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering to investigate root causes of defects and develop corrective actions.
  • Conduct surveillance audits to ensure compliance with the F-35 Quality Management Plan.
  • Develop and coordinate effective defect containment actions to mitigate potential issues.
  • Maintain metrics related to product defects, manufacturing process variations, and overall health of the Quality Management System.

Requirements

  • Experience analyzing data.
  • Experience reading and comprehending blueprints, engineering specifications, and technical documents.
  • Thorough working knowledge of PDM, QADS, VAS, and SFM systems.
  • Experience utilizing precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
  • Background experience utilizing Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with root cause and corrective action processes.
  • Experience with project management.
