About the position

The Quality Control Analyst position at Randstad General Staffing involves ensuring the quality of products through both automated and manual testing. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, focusing on compliance, inspection, and reporting of quality results.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and record keeping for all mandated quality checks, testing and sampling activities.
• Inspect packaged and stored fruit to ensure specifications are met.
• Report quality results and issues with operations and management.
• Work closely with operations and management on corrective action when the product does not meet specifications.
• Conduct visual and measurement tests on fruit to ensure they meet the approved requirements; communicating any required changes to the management.
• Maintain detailed records of the food production that's been carried out, as well as relevant additional information, and various metrics such as the number of defective fruit each day.

Requirements

• Entry-level position with under 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
• Ability to perform manual lifting up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours at one time.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in production control and inspection.
• Familiarity with testing and monitoring processes.
