About the position
The Quality Control Assistant position at CyberCoders involves ensuring compliance with construction documents and quality control standards on assigned projects. The role includes reviewing plans, inspecting installations, coordinating with the Quality Control Manager, and assisting in generating Requests for Information (RFIs). This position is essential for maintaining high-quality standards in construction processes.
Responsibilities
- Review plans and shop drawings for compliance with construction documents and quality control standards.
- Inspect all installations on assigned projects for compliance with the quality control checklist and construction documents.
- Assist with pre-install meetings prior to trades commencing work and follow up as new employees are added to the project to ensure all installations, mixing processes, and products are pre-approved.
- Coordinate and advise the Quality Control Manager on items that are out of order.
- Create and/or assist the Quality Control Manager in generating RFIs as needed with possible solution recommendations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 3 years of field-related experience in construction.
- Knowledge of construction facets and quality control processes.
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Florida Driver's License.
