About the position
The Quality Control Chemist position involves performing analytical testing and quality control procedures in a laboratory setting. Responsibilities
- Conduct analytical testing and quality control procedures in the laboratory.
- Utilize wet chemistry techniques such as titration, filtration, and extraction.
- Operate analytical instruments including GC-FID, ICP, IC, SEM/EDS, and FTIR.
- Perform pH and specific ion electrode measurements.
- Maintain accurate records of testing results and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry.
- 3 years of experience in Quality Control.
- 3 years of experience in laboratory techniques.
- 3 years of experience in Analytical Chemistry.
- Strong wet chemistry skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with GC-FID, ICP, IC, SEM/EDS, and FTIR instruments.
- Strong chemical math skills.
- Solid interpersonal skills.
