About the position

The QA/QC Field Engineer at Faith Technologies serves as a vital technical assistant in the field, acting as a liaison between various project stakeholders including QA/QC Journeyman, Foreman, and Superintendents. This role focuses on supporting technical tools and ensuring that project specifications are met for quality assurance and quality control tasks. The position requires proficiency in technology and electrical terminology, with a strong emphasis on communication and documentation to maintain project efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Leads training needs for technology tools, software applications, and SOP's.
• Understands relational data sets for equipment and feeders and able to generate reports from such data.
• Ensures detailed procedures and checklists are in place to document that equipment is installed and energized to the project requirements, applicable standards, as well as customer requirements and specifications.
• Assembles project information that documents that the installation conforms to project requirements, applicable standards as well as customer requirements.
• Collects and enters data for KPI reporting and visual reporting.
• Provide support material and reports to project leads as required.
• Provide support for commissioning activities.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4 years of related experience or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
• Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of electrical terminology and components
• Willingness to learn project checklist and issue management software packages.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with QA/QC software
• Familiarity with BIM360Field and Bluebeam
