About the position
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality standards before they are shipped to customers. This role involves hands-on quality support, visual inspections, and maintaining quality control procedures within the manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all quality control procedures and policies
- Provide hands-on quality support and guidance to all staff
- Ensure product meets customer specifications and expectations
- Complete quality checks and supply quality support to all levels of the business
- Enter data into ERP system and assist with creation of reports in Excel
- Maintain the Quality Standard of the product by visually inspecting products, crates, and packaging
- Investigate and assist in determining the root cause and corrective actions for customer complaints
- Conduct training when needed
- Organize trials for new products
- Support and drive continuous improvement throughout the plant
- Coordinate and participate in rework activity
Requirements
- 1-year experience working in Quality in a Manufacturing environment; experience working with glass preferred
- Able to demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem solving, and process improvement
- Proficient with data entry into ERP systems
- Strong skills with MS Word and Excel with ability to create reports
- Able to handle changing priorities
- Able to work independently or within a team
- Proactive and creative problem solver with proven ability to multitask and manage deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
