About the position
The Quality Control Inspector role is a one-year contract position based in Alvarado, TX, focused on performing quality evaluations on products and processes according to engineering specifications and established guidelines. The inspector will ensure that all products meet required standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability, contributing to a high-standard production environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections across various operational activities to ensure products and processes meet quality and safety standards.
- Identify and document non-conformance issues using established testing and measurement techniques.
- Generate detailed reports on inspection findings and communicate significant issues to operations and management.
- Perform final adjustments on products as needed and conduct specialized testing, including magnetic particle and penetrant testing of parts.
- Initiate and process non-conformance reports (NCRs) and work closely with QA/QC management to resolve identified issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience in a related field with knowledge of quality evaluation methods and inspection tools.
Nice-to-haves
- 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control or a related industry.
- Familiarity with magnetic particle and penetrant testing.
