Responsibilities

• Inspects finished precision machined products, including in-process, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies for conformance to company standards.
• Inspects randomly selected samples to verify accuracy.
• Familiar with precision measuring instruments and devices.
• Performs first piece, first article, and final inspection.
• Offers suggestions to improve/enhance the inspection process.
• Capable of interpreting blueprints and understanding geometric tolerance.
• Coordinates with personnel for resolutions to quality issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years' experience measuring precision machined parts.
• CMM Experience, preferably with Zeiss.
• Ability to perform assigned tasks independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to read and understand component and assembly drawings.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Detail-oriented individual.
• Ability to use simple measurement tools such as calipers or gauges.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrates ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to accurately perform basic computer tasks.
