The Quality Control Manager role will oversee and ensure the quality and safety of all aircraft maintenance and operations. This role involves developing and implementing quality control programs, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and Dynamic Aviation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to the Chief Inspector for all aspects of Quality Control for All Aircraft, Engine, Avionics Maintenance, and Components maintained by Dynamic Aviation.
  • Responsible for oversight and tasking of Airframe, Avionics Maintenance, Engine, Component Inspectors and Designated Inspectors.
  • Ensure policies, procedures and practices are consistent and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and process non-conforming product reports and non-compliance observation reports in company's QMS software.
  • Aid in determining training needs required for maintenance and inspection teams and communicate these needs to the Chief Inspector and the Training Manager.
  • Ensure all quality control activities, prioritize the safety of personnel and aircraft while promoting a culture of safety within the operation.
  • Administer performance reviews for QC Inspectors and work with HR where administrative actions as applicable.
  • Work together with the Chief Inspector to implement, manage and enforce quality policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for oversight and maintenance of Dynamic Aviation's Weight and Balance/Configuration programs.
  • Assist with oversight and management of Required Inspection Item Inspector Program.
  • Responsible for tracking and maintaining oversight of 337's to include acting as the POC for FAA Field Approvals, and ensuring completed copies are submitted to FAA.
  • Participate in corrective action board, aviation safety council meetings and AS9100 series quarterly management reviews.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A&P License. IA preferred.
  • Prior management/leadership experience preferred.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required, associate's degree preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to follow directions and remain on task.
  • A thorough understanding of aircraft and aircraft parts, aircraft maintenance procedures, aviation standards and FAA regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work closely with other people with a cooperative attitude.
