The Quality Control & Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Facilities Operations Team, reporting directly to the Quality Control Manager for Campus Planning, Infrastructure, and Facilities. This position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring compliance with operational quality standards across various facilities. The coordinator will engage extensively with both custodial contractual services and in-house operations, conducting site reviews and inspections to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance in designated areas. In addition to performing inspections, the coordinator will assist the Quality Control Manager in developing and overseeing corrective action plans for custodial functions. This includes submitting corrective actions for facility repairs and acting as a primary contact for contractual services, facilitating communication and addressing needs and expectations as they arise. The role also involves coordinating custodial functions for Facilities' projects and special events, with a particular emphasis on customer-funded work requests and renovation cleaning projects, especially those requiring detailed floor care. The ideal candidate for this position must exhibit a strong focus on detail, action, and results, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement. The ability to manage multiple tasks and handle sensitive matters with discretion is essential. Effective communication with the Quality Control Manager, Director, and other leaders within the Facilities Department is critical to fulfilling the responsibilities of this role with minimal supervision.
