About the position

The Quality Control Tech position at LKQ involves inspecting, cleaning, and preparing automotive replacement parts for shipment. Responsibilities

• Clean parts by buffing small parts, power washing drive train, and cleaning panels with soap and water.
• Inspect parts to match description and quality to inventory records.
• Communicate with sales representatives via email and phone regarding discrepancies in quality or inventory.
• Prepare parts for shipment by protecting them with bubble wrap and placing them in cardboard boxes.
• Load trucks by preparing racks with panels and small parts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in car repair and parts is helpful.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs or more frequently.
