About the position

The Quality Control Technician role at Divergent Technologies involves performing inspections and ensuring product quality within a cutting-edge manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

  • Perform Quality Control inspections using engineering drawings and procedures.
  • Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure conformance to requirements.
  • Monitor production processes to identify deviations from established quality parameters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Create and manage records of test results, inspections, and evaluations, including non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Support process improvement and production initiatives.
  • Assist the Quality Control Supervisor with inspections and quality-related tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized Quality Lab.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in a Quality Control environment.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, including knowledge of GD&T.
  • Familiarity with standard measurement tools: micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, thread plugs, and plug gages.
  • High visual acuity.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with solid interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate's degree in science or engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience interfacing with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.
