The technician will assist the Division Quality Manager with various QAQC tasks and activities, ensuring that all processes align with the company's commitment to quality and safety. The technician will utilize their strong foundational knowledge of inspection, testing, and non-destructive examination (NDE) methods specific to the oil and gas sector, which may include work in refineries and fabrication settings. Responsibilities include conducting NDE and testing, interpreting results, and performing various testing methods such as Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Positive Material Identification (PMI), and Ferrite determination. The technician will also be responsible for inspecting finished products and authorizing their release, ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and policies while promoting a culture of safety within the organization. In addition to these core responsibilities, the Quality Control Technician will be expected to perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to the needs of the division. This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work under pressure to meet departmental targets and deadlines.
