About the position

The Quality Improvement Data Systems Manager at Covenant Health is a critical role focused on enhancing healthcare quality through effective data management and analysis. This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of quality improvement data systems, ensuring accurate reporting of patient satisfaction, and leading data-driven projects across various healthcare facilities. The manager will collaborate with teams to drive quality initiatives and support the organization's mission to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Midas Care Management and other quality data systems, ensuring system accuracy, stability, and user support.
  • Create dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for leadership and facility quality departments.
  • Train users, lead group sessions, and provide one-on-one support as needed.
  • Plan and manage the implementation and upgrades of quality data systems, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Ensure data flows smoothly between clinical functions and regulatory reporting systems, staying abreast of CMS and other compliance requirements.
  • Analyze quality data needs and implement technical solutions.
  • Serve as the primary contact for integration of processes and data flow, collaborating with vendors and IT.
  • Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Design dashboards and scorecards that translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Support performance improvement projects through robust data analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Computer Science, or Business, with technical expertise in data and computer science.
  • 3+ years in clinical data analysis, with a strong foundation in database management and reporting.
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and statistical software.
  • Clinical experience or background preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex data into user-friendly insights.

  • Familiarity with Midas Care Management and Datavision.
