About the position

SimTech, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Quality Engineer to join their team in Huntsville, AL. This role focuses on applying quality principles to support the PM Mounted Armored Vehicle Bradley Fighting Vehicle platform, ensuring adherence to quality standards and documentation. Responsibilities

• Apply quality principles in design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, and inventory control.
• Collaborate with Quality lead and program leadership to ensure quality standards are in place and adhered to.
• Ensure quality documentation is in place as specified by program leadership to satisfy program requirements.
• Perform technical evaluations of requirements, specifications, models, drawings, and procedures.
• Assist in the development of strategies and systems to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity.
• Analyze inspection and testing processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of demonstrated relevant experience required.
• Basic knowledge and experience with Quality Management Systems (AS9100, ISO 9001, and government standards) and Certifications.
• Lean/Six Sigma exposure.
• Experience with warehouse and manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of mechanical and non-destructive inspection techniques.
• Strong passion and relentless drive for achieving results in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication, data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance preferred.
