About the position

The Quality Assurance Professional role is designed for an experienced individual who excels in a remote work environment, demonstrating creativity and enthusiasm in their approach to testing web services. Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Develop and maintain functional automation test scripts using modular frameworks and industry best practices.
• Execute test scripts to ensure the application functions correctly.
• Utilize SQL and NoSQL for backend database validation.
• Conduct various testing types, including smoke, white box, black box, integration, end-to-end, regression, and system testing as required.
• Participate in requirement and design review sessions, assessing documentation from a quality automation perspective.
• Manage test coverage based on risk analysis.
• Document defects and prioritize them based on overall application functionality.
• Coordinate test script reviews with relevant stakeholders.
• Adhere to guidelines for requirement reviews, defect documentation, and test script creation.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed within established schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Engage in root cause analysis sessions.
• Ensure compliance with prescribed software development lifecycle standards.
• Foster strong relationships within the project team.
• Multi-task effectively to meet assignment deadlines.
• Provide accurate estimates for work assignments.
• Demonstrate assertiveness in identifying and addressing obstacles.
• Proactively suggest solutions to overcome challenges.
• Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes within the assigned team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in web services testing using automation tools, JSON, and XML.
• 2+ years of experience in data validation.
• 2+ years of experience writing RestAssured and Karate tests for API testing.
• 2+ years of experience with message queues, particularly Kafka.
• 2+ years of experience in service virtualization.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud deployments.
