About the position
The Quality Engineer at Honda will serve as a subject matter expert in resolving factory-related outflow issues, focusing on improving product quality by promoting the customer voice. This role involves investigating problems to determine root causes and implementing countermeasures in collaboration with responsible departments to enhance overall CBU performance.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze market information from all available sources
- Investigate and develop countermeasures to resolve manufacturing issues
- Create and present technical reports, status updates and problem summaries for assigned items
- Perform audits of product to feedback current conditions to responsible departments
- Support and complete MQ related projects and business themes
- Work with Sales/Service divisions to develop field repair techniques
Requirements
- 0-6 years of relevant engineering experience dependent upon education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering field (Mechanical, Industrial, etc.) or equivalent related experience
- Results oriented with problem management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, PowerBI)
- Ability to extract and interpret drawing/specification information
- Communication skills for presenting
- Basic mechanical skill to remove/install automotive components
