As a Quality Assurance Analyst II at Frost, you will be integral to our commitment to delivering top-quality systems and services. In this position, you will develop comprehensive testing plans, identify gaps in requirements, and create solutions for complex IT systems. Your strong problem-solving skills will be essential in ensuring that our systems perform optimally and meet the high standards we set. Effective communication is key, as you will have the opportunity to address potential problems and propose solutions to complex issues. You will collaborate closely with developers to resolve any identified issues, ensuring that our systems are reliable and efficient. Responsibilities

  • Define testing plans, identify gaps in requirements, and propose testing hypotheses for simple program/system changes.
  • Identify interfacing and related programs/systems on which to write functional test cases to execute batch and functional testing and automate test scripts.
  • Execute tests and validate results to determine which issues need to be addressed by the development team.
  • Collaborate with the developer to fix issues.
  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of Software Quality Engineering or other relevant IT industry or banking experience.
  • Proficiency in software testing methodologies including test planning, test execution, gap analysis, requirements traceability, and defect management.
  • Experience participating on project teams and incorporating testing activities into project plans.
  • Experience with one or more functional/regression testing tools.
  • Understanding of quality assurance as part of the development process.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management experience.
  • Financial industry experience.
  • WIRE payments experience.
  • Experience in handling incoming and outgoing messages such as SWIFT, MT, MX, and ISO20022.
  • Test Automation experience.
