About the position
As a Quality Engineering Analyst II at Frost, you will be responsible for ensuring that every system is risk-free and built with integrity, caring, and excellence. You will develop testing plans, identify gaps in requirements, and create solutions for complex IT systems. Your role will involve using strong problem-solving skills to ensure optimal system performance and adherence to high standards. Effective communication will be key as you address potential problems and solutions to complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Define testing plans, identify gaps in requirements, and propose testing hypotheses for simple program/system changes
- Identify interfacing and related programs/systems on which to write functional test cases to execute batch and functional testing and automate test scripts
- Execute tests and validate results to determine which issues need to be addressed by the development team
- Collaborate with the developer to fix issues
- Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of Software Quality Engineering or other relevant IT industry or banking experience
- Proficiency in software testing methodologies including test planning, test execution, gap analysis, requirements traceability, and defect management
- Experience participating on project teams and incorporating testing activities into project plans
- Experience with one or more functional/regression testing tools
- Understanding of quality assurance as part of the development process
