About the position

The Quality Finish Product Auditor is responsible for inspecting components and assemblies to ensure the accuracy and completeness of products. This role involves documenting process issues, performing audit checks, and engaging with team members across various disciplines to meet production goals. The auditor must maintain equipment, work collaboratively, and adapt to changes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect components and assemblies for accuracy and completeness.
  • Document process issues such as defects and non-conformances in the quality management system.
  • Perform required frequency of audit checks.
  • Relay audit defect information to area leaders.
  • Engage positively with team members from all disciplines to ensure common goals are met.
  • Work overtime hours as necessary, including Saturdays, to complete production schedules.
  • Provide care and maintenance of all equipment and resources used, including performing required calibrations and preventive maintenance.

Requirements

  • High school degree required; college degree is a definite asset.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work closely with others to solve problems and follow through on solutions.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow basic instructions and prints.
  • Proficiency in operating and understanding measurement tools such as tape measures, micrometers, gauges, calipers, and levels.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Proven quality assurance and auditing experience in a similar industry preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills preferred.
